When I first started watching for the robot apocalypse, or robocalypse as I like to call it in this sentence, I really didn't think I would be able to consistently fuel my paranoia.


I was mistaken.





They... they built a robot that is controlled by the brain cells of a rat. I think the point they wanted to make is that man's own hubris knows no bounds, and will surely lead to the end of the world.

From an article last year about the future of artificial intelligence:

LIKELY story, "Professor" Shadbolt.  Funny, there are some facts missing from your little report:

• When was your last physical?
• How come there is no record, in any online database, of you ever bleeding?
• Why so interested in defending the robots, if they're not self-aware and thus don't need defending?

I'm watching you, "Professor".
